North American Missions exists to see the gospel take root in every community — supporting church planters, revitalizing existing works, and mobilizing the district to reach the lost across Maryland, D.C., and beyond.
Expanding the Kingdom
one church at a time
The mission of the Maryland/DC North American Missions Department is to strengthen and expand the Kingdom of God across our District through purposeful, Spirit-led church planting. We are committed to identifying and engaging the next generation of leaders who feel the call to pioneer works, helping them discern, develop, and step into God's purpose with confidence and clarity.
At the same time, we exist to stand beside our current church planters and their families — providing encouragement, connection, and practical support as they labor to establish thriving Apostolic churches. With faith for continued growth, we cast vision for adding new works throughout Maryland and Washington, D.C., and we create intentional pathways for training, mentorship, and hands-on preparation so that future church planters are equipped to launch, lead, and sustain churches that bring lasting revival to our region.
More churches
= More souls
Every new congregation is a new doorway for the lost to find Christ. As we multiply Apostolic churches across the district, we multiply the places where people can encounter the truth, be filled with the Spirit, and be discipled for life. More churches means more souls — that is the heartbeat of North American Missions.

Every dollar plants a church.
Christmas for Christ is received across the Christmas season and goes to one place: church planters in North America. It has funded hundreds of successful church plants, in cities large and small.

Increase in Christmas for Christ requests over the last five years.
Given by Maryland and D.C.
2025 is blank on purpose — Christmas for Christ reports the following February, so the district has no figure for it yet.

This offering splits 60/40 — the only one that does not divide in half.
Church planters across North America
Distributed to planters starting new Apostolic works — the people doing the hardest, least-funded job in the movement.
